The Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park (ITL Park) branch of the Xi'an ecology and environment bureau in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, recently worked with the park's economic development bureau, city management bureau, and market regulation bureau to carry out inspections to determine whether market entities have fully implemented the plastic restriction order issued throughout the city.

The park's officials formed a special inspection group, and paid for research visits to the park's drug stores on July 14. They found that all drug store operators are aware of the importance of the policy and have properly adopted measures advised in the policy.

The group then inspected Xinzhu Farm Produce and related catering businesses in the park. All restaurants have stopped offering disposable tableware to customers.

The park will continue carrying out such inspections in the future in order to ensure the full implementation of the plastic restriction order and to curb white pollution.
