An exhibition of works that center around people's participation in sports and games is being held at the Shaanxi Province Art Museum, on the sidelines of the ongoing 14th National Games in Xi'an.
The exhibition until Sept 28 shows paintings and sculptures hail professional athletes and also celebrate the development of sporting events for the public. The works were created by member artists from the Xi'an Academy of Chinese Painting in the past three months.
The show also displays works introducing the past and the present of Xi'an, a centuries-old city with many historic sites which served as an important hub along the ancient Silk Road.
