ITL Park ensures daily necessities, anti-virus supplies

Updated: 2022-01-12

Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park – located in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province – has recently acted decisively to ensure the provision of daily necessities for its population, while continuing to undertake stringent measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We have sufficient reserves of materials here and the construction personnel are in a positive mood," said Li Sandang, project leader of the Xinlu Xinju Hydropower No 3 Bureau Project in the park.

"We are fully confident that we will win the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic," Li added.

Due to the pandemic, the construction of the project was suspended and 325 construction workers from Sichuan, Chongqing, and other cities in Shaanxi were also forced to stay at the park.

On Dec 30, ITL Park's transportation and housing construction bureau arranged for the delivery of 49,148 kilograms of vegetables and distributed them to various projects, including the Xinlu Xinju Hydropower No 3 Bureau Project.

Since the pandemic outbreak, the project has received various anti-epidemic materials, such as masks, alcohol and protective clothing. This is said to have helped create a strong anti-virus barrier for the project.

Currently, more than 10,000 migrant workers are reportedly stranded in ITL Park. The park has done a great job in the collection and distribution of vegetables, to meet the living needs of the migrant workers.
