Xi'an Port: first in China to trial tax rebate policy for departure port
A China-Europe Chang'an freight train carrying the first order of land departure port tax-refunded goods departed from the Xi'an International Port Station on April 18, making Xi'an Port the first inland port in China to pilot the tax rebate policy for land departure ports.

The Xi'an International Port Station is located in the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province.
The goods loaded on the train were light industrial products exported to Kazakhstan with a value of $119,000.
Foreign trade export enterprises need only choose the port of departure for their tax refund when applying to benefit from the tax refund policy after the China-Europe Chang’an freight train departs.
This has significantly shortened the time needed to process tax refunds, which will help improve the efficiency of capital circulation for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
"It used to take about a month to receive a tax refund from the delivery of the goods. After implementing the new policy at the land port of departure, we are able to receive the refund the day after shipping," said a worker at Shaanxi Manatee International Trade Co.
ITL Park will cooperate with finance, customs, taxation, railway and other departments to ensure that qualified enterprises can benefit from the aforementioned policy and strive to provide high-quality services to enterprises, according to Sun Yimin, secretary of the Party working committee and director of the management committee of ITL Park.
